Actually, the process I read on the website is that the Embassy at Pakistan cannot be contacted unless sixty days have passed and you do not get a response from them. My sixty days end on the 15th of this month. Apart from that, you can get in touch with DOS or check the status online at

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

Or check if AEG got your passport using the following link:

http://www.aegusvisa.com.pk/Default.aspx?PageID=17

DOS says its still in Administrative Processing and they don't have any other information. So im thinking to wait till the sixty days time limit expire then ill mention the link which says enquiry can be made after sixty days when I write to the US embassy although going through forums I have learned that they only reply with automated messages and never let you know exactly what duration could your case take.

These both link is working or not????

These both link is working or not????

The USCIS link is only for the i130 petition not after the interview checks.. it only works with your NOA number and wont see your NVC number so that one is only for the status before the interview to see if your i130 is approved

the AEG site i dont know if it works... the one person i knew that got their passport back never showed up in that system it always said not found.

Calling DOS and contacting the embassy right now are the only two ways of checking... soon there wil be another link that works from the dept of state that we can check but it wont be working until after the end of sept.

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

Here is that link... it says it should be working by the end of Sept

Muzammil Did you check your passport status??

http://www.aegusvisa.com.pk/Default.aspx?PageID=17

I think only these people use this link to sent passport through American Express.not for all.if someone already given the interview and consulate take their passport at the time of interview not use this link.

It looks like i am not the only one in this issue well i will tell you my store also .My wife had her CR1 interview on 24 august at Islamabad embassy and I went to the embassy with her.She did really good and answered all the question. There was a Asian lady who interviewed her. After the interview she gave my wife all the original documents back and a green slip that was 221g and told her we will let you know she did keep her passport.I call state department they said just wait .I did write to my senator but no answer yet,My question is what do they do after this .After this I guess the only thing i can do is WAIT WAIT WAIT AND MORE WAIT.

Umm yea my status appears there. Although my passport isn't there. It gives me the status of what the last entry they made to it. It works and yes it doesn't work on Mondays', tuesdays, wednesdays... That is what i have noticed. During these days i get no record found. Rest of the days my status appears

Some people say that the CEAC link which is due to work by September end, shows status of online e-filled applicants only. Is that true bro?

A Lot of us saw our cases displayed when they first set this up... some showed the AP in process or the interview scheduled. Then it went down after a few days. Im guessing this is also a way to check cases instead of call DOS all the time. We also saw ours listed as updated and saying AP processing

Actually what happened was eabbas checked her case status so many times a day it caused an overload on the servers and crashed the super computers. Till a new system capable of handling the requests generated by status update junkeys like us we will get the application unavailable status.

Oh and for the record I went through withdrawals when I could not check my case status on uscis website wonder what's gonna happen to this one when I get a hold of it .

Hopefully what will happen is that they will review your file after the refusal the interviewing agent has to make a case why they have denied your visa. If they spent time on it chances are they made a good enough case what might also happen is the reviewing agent might overturn the decision and you will get an approval letter.
