EAbbas: I heard similar things in at least one of my calls today to DOS ("still pending" & "its a good sign"). Maybe we spoke to the same rep. I don't want to give false hope but I have a feeling your AP is coming to a close and will be over soon inshallah.

Once my fiance gets his visa, I'll post my details so you can add them to the tracker.

LOL maybe we did.. i started sobbing and she felt so bad she told me she would look to see if anything was happening thats when she came back to say that

I pray all of us get out of AP soon but EAbbas it does sound good that there are recent updates on your case.

I pray that too... and yea at least there were new updates.. that doesnt always happen

Today i called DOS lady said its still in AP call back next week ? what does mean by call back next week ? is it general statement they tell every body ?

Rarely they can say to call back because they know something... so yeah its just a general statement but maybe it will be that your AP is over.. you never know... They have always told me to call back next week since I started calling...

AP is really difficult and its heartbreaking but it does seem that Islamabad has no consistency so I just pray if we can help just one couple understand AP for Pakistan then we have done something good.. :)

i have received this email from consulate. so far no good news,

Yeah we get that too.. its just a canned answer wish they would give a little more details but they don't... hang in there

interview month Oct 2011....still in AP :(

Hang in there.. we've made it thru almost 7 months.. our interview was June 15th 2011... if we can make it i know you can!!!! hopefully there will be something good for us all soon.. our baby said the first thing she wanted my husband to do was to read her a story but this time with her actually sitting in his lap .. not over the pc ;) may this end soon!!!!

The embassy and DOS giving more details would be a blessing. I would love to know the status of our case. Are they doing background checks or verifying documents or just letting our file sit there and gather dust? When they finally finish our case we will most likely never know what took so long.

I called the DOS yesterday and today i got same thing that they are just waiting for my Ap to complete.it that same thing as pending in AP?Because whenever i called before they all ways told me still pending in AP.

unfortunately yeah its the same... Im sorry for that.... Just keep good notes when u call and who u spoke with n exactly what they said. Smtimes you can see a pattern come from it and get an idea where u are in the process

it's okay.thank you for respond to my post.yea i thought it would mean the same think.But i just called again and now it was different person and told me check back in week or 2week.i know you in Ap for 6month.i know someone who got there visa after 8month.
