Do you guys think I will need a certified copy of birth certificate for getting married in US? Just in case I do , how do I get it? I do have original computerized birth certificate

Call the county clerk office where you will marry and ask them. More than likely your passport and another form of ID will be fine.

Every states law is difference and even more so every counties laws are different. If one is requested it will need to be original and certified, copies are not allowed.

Can anyone tell me if the visa process slow down during the summer months?

I called the embassy last week and the very nice lady on the phone said "things get backed up during the summer with lots of student visas, non immigrant visas and immigrant visas. Summer is very busy for us" And also with Ramadan I can't imagine the pace getting any faster.

Packet 4 is the interview letter correct? (it's been a long time since we went thru this just double checking)

If it is the interview letter then we received it via email. Print it and use it for medical/interview at embassy. It is accepted in printed format from PC

Your the first person I know who has done it. I think if you have a ladgitimate complaint and evidence to support it you may have some influence. But once again I hate to say this that so many people have abused the system that its not really intent of the agents to precieve everyone the wrong way it just comes with the job. Hopefully if it gets attention of the AG it might raise a few eye brows and move things along. Bit still complaining does not guarantee anything it could bring negative attention you dont want.
