what does response date means and has any one got his visa after checking this site or got any information about ur visas printed or sent.

I also got the same response when I checked my wife's visa status. I called DOS yesterday and they said it is still in AP. Just as other members advised me the other day, I wouldnt worry to much about the online status, because it is not accurate for all the cases.

I have got no response DAY 9 I wish to get passport before 13 aug.......... my friend got his passport with Student Visa, after exactly after 19 days!!!!

Oh I envy you!!! I so wish I could also go to my husband but until my daughters safe from her brain tumor I can't leave her side

Yes you should be able to go to the embassy just call and ask them what times a USC can go

Enjoy your time there. They do not let you just walk in. You would have to schedule an appointment which is impossible to get. I went in May and during my time there I made sure I called the embassy at least once a week. But of course that did absolutely nothing because my wife is still on AP. You might have better luck than me. Good luck and safe travels.

Seeing as how I'll be in Lahore and I don't want to travel to Islamabad just to get a answer of "we can't help" do you think the consulate in Lahore will be of any assistance?

Just got off the phone with DOS, while i did not hear good news the lady i was speaking with was very helpful (unsual i know). She was explaining to me how during the summer time they get over flowed with visas especially student and traveling visas. The embassy has not contracted out to a 3rd party (as i had heard) and that they are constantly working on the application and that it is not (contrary to what we might think here) just sitting around. She also stated that me being in AP for 7 months is not "abnormal". Now i dont know if this is just stuff she has to say or if she actually knew what she was talking about. Time will Tell.

and I am also thinking about going to Lahore in maybe October. I hope my fiance gets her visa and maybe she can come back with my parents whom will be visiting or with me.
