I have been lurking on this site for a while and I really need your help. My dad was deported in 2006, he has no criminal record. His i212 and i610 was FINALLY approved last year in March 2011 so he sent in his passport and medical.His passport expired in December 2011. They just called him 2 days ago saying that they are sending back his old passport and he is supposed to send in his new passport along with new medical and a new picture. Please let me know what this means. does this mean good news or do we have another long wait ahead of us? He has been living in Karachi for the past 6 years all alone. He has missed my college graduation, my wedding, all the major milestones in my life and my mom has been working crazy hours at work. This thread is amazing, Please pray for my dad as I will pray for all of you. :)

Anytime they request new medical and updated passport is always a good sign they are finishing his case and sounds like the visa will be issued

Good luck and yes it is very hard to miss so much of time it can be so heartbreaking and painful but I pray this ends your turmoil!!

In december 2010 priority dates retrogessed and wait priority date current again in

MARCH 2012 2nd

Medical submit :07 March 2012 Result :Administrative Processing

3rd Medical submit :28th Feb 2013 Result Administrative Processing

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

Hello everyone at AP tracker VJ Family i need some suggestions from all of you. US embassy on 17 Feb was ready to send back my case to USCIS with recommended of revocation.

and then on 29 March they emailed me that they put my case under review and will contact me in few days. today again when i called for the status of my Case at US Embassy. i was told it's on final decision they will contact me and let me know. now i'm confused can anyone tell me what do you guys think it could be decision whether to Approve me a visa or not or what. your ideas and suggestions will be highly appreciated Thank you

It sounds to me like they are making the decision... and hopefully your visa will come

edit your timeline to show APPROVED and VISA RECEIVED!!!!!! And remove Administrative processing

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

I don't know and really can't say from any experience, but I do have a positive feeling when I read your message explaining your situation. When will your fiance be in Pakistan, I seem to remember that her visit is coming up soon? I hope that her visit to you and also to the Embassy will result in some good news for the both of you. Inshallah. I think the best part is that it seems to be still at the Embassy and not yet sent back to USCIS! :star:

while in AP i am in Dubai now, I told embassy that when visa is ready I will submit my passport. Embassy has confirmed address changed and told when i am out of AP they will contact me.

These days chilling in dubai ;)

Thanks Winning23 i hope Allah will have all his blessings on us. yes Kim no one can say anything i know that but some were saying they might review it before it is sent back. and some saying looks like they will Approve me and i really don't want to get my hopes up.my fiancee is flying on 21st April we have our Plan B is getting married. once we hear about our case Approved or not we will proceed with our Plans. and we have decided to go to Islamabad on 24th April. and hopefully will get some answers inshallah by the grace of Allah i hope all who are in AP they will get outta it sooner inshallah Ameen.
