BTW... does anybody know what the embassy will request at the time of visa issuance? Im sure we will need updated medical and maybe ds230... what about pcc? anything else? hoping we hear something but feels like we are stuck badly... and im hurting like i've never hurt before...

I would have gone a year ago and left everything here but due to other reasons I cant leave here to live somewhere else at least not right now....for us its about the visa to live together...otherwise I would have gone to him or we would have gone somewhere else to live...

I am just popping in to check on everyone. We are just about to enter our 8th week of AP.

I have also considered moving to Pakistan and would do so in a heartbeat but I have two young children and thier father would never allow for them to move with me and it is not an option for me to leave them. So that is why we chose to go for the K-1 Visa mostly because we wanted to include my children, soon to be our children, in the wedding festivities.

It is heartbreaking and lately I feel like my fiance is losing hope. BUT I am trying to stay positive and just know that whatever Allah has planned for us, so will he make our paths clear soon - inshallah.

May Allah bless all of you while waiting to have your loved ones and family members closer.

i can feel your pain as i am going through the same situation as my fiancée has a lovely girl and it just not right to pulled her out of her school and friends. that's why are going through this pain but in the end if nothing happens i hope she will come to live with me here in Pakistan.

I can totally relate to that too....

My son, my youngest, woke up on Monday morning and as we sat eating breakfast together, he told me with tears in his eyes that he wished Papa was here so that he could eat breakfast with us. Awwww so nice to hear and yet so painful to not have answers for his little heart that is also huring.

You need to get your wife involved. she needs to put in teh request beginning with her senator or congressman first before filing anything like the writ of mandamus... she has to show she tried to get information and get the process completed first.

Who filed for you 4 years ago? She would not have been old enough

Have you contacted the embassy at all? have they requested more information? I read your other post that you are 30 and she is 20 and if it's been 4 years that would mean she was 16 at the time of the marriagE? Was it arranged then?

Any other red flags you can think of?

NO MATTER THEY KEPT PASSPORT OR NOT.. I AM UNDER ADMIN PROCESS ROM LAST 20 MONTHS AND EMBASSY KEPT MY PASSPORT AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW....

@Eabbas: as far as i know you dont need to submit ds230. Just an updated medical report and pcc.

Its been 2weeks since i have submitted my medical report still waiting..hopefully they issue me the visa. AMEEN!!!
