We called yesterday and it was working then

Just tried it and yeah there is a message saying they are currently closed due to an emergency

Even i tried calling today and the recording says they r closed due to an emergency,,, its so nice that they can close for their emergency, but when we have an emergency,, we cant even be with the person we love,,,

to me its just seem useless i am tired and heartbroken

Arif Ali... you are allowed days to feel this way but you can't remain this way... believe me! we've been doing this a few months longer and there are days I can't control my tears... when someone from work asks me if your husband is here i simply break down.. but then you have to pull yourself together and remain strong.... our ultimate goal is just simply being together and wherever that may be we will be together one day... you will too... just have faith they are working on your case and stay strong in your relationship knowing that person will be with you one day!

Have a night where you two watch a good movie online together! Have her cook for you while you talk to her and eat together... try to have a normal life with the abnormal distance... it WILL happen! hang in there!

Hello Everyone,

I am glad to have found this forum. My wife had her first interview on 12/22/2011 where they asked for additional document to show proof of marriage. After they received the documents they called and scheduled another interview for 2/13/2011. After this interview they asked for us to show proof that i was in Pakistan when the marriage took place. I went ahead and sent them my passport with entry and exit stamps along with my flight itinerary. I called they DOS last week and they said that my wife's file was opened March 6, 2012. They kept all of the original documents along with her passport. Can anyone tell me how long it will take?

Unfortunately nobody can tell you how long this will take :( as you can see we are all at the mercy of this ap and embassy I hope you meant you sent copies of your passport not the real passport

They will take a few weeks to put your new doc with the case file and if they decide to do ap they will at that time all you c an do is check with the embassy and DOS

I am in exact same position my wife had her interview on 14july11 and they wanted more proof of on going relationship. 8 months and still under AP

And Faisal Khan.. yeah its over i spoke with sarah on Friday and she said that a fire had started in the building while everyone was gone early in the morning so they sent everyone home until everything had cleared. Nobody was hurt and everybody back at work on Friday.
