My husband had been in AP for months when the embassy called and emailed in March asking for fresh medical, DS-230, Affidavit of support, passport pics and his passport.More months went by then they called him to come in for an interview. Why they asked for his passport back in March is a mystery to me.

Many of the things they do at the embassy in Pakistan don't make sense. Asking for a passport before the are ready to issue the visa is one of them.

Carolyn any update today? i didnt see any update today and one of my frd got a good news, his status changed to issue today. :)

I also had status update on the 11th but so far no status update today. The embassy will close in 30 minutes I will check the ceac website again. Sometimes my status doesn't update until the embassy closes for the day.

Virgo2012 again congratulations and I pray you will love living in my Country!

My case has had updates sense my husband had his interview. The embassy wrote my senator and said they will finish our case soon. I keep praying and praying that after 4

years of marriage they will see we are a bona fide couple and issue the visa.

I am thinking positive and getting the house ready for my husband. I am cleaning and throwing out things we don't need. It keeps me busy and gives me hope.

not sure if you have observe my postings..i am in AP past 7 years plus now just 5 months ago re submitted new med, pcc photos to embassy but its a long wait..just sick of the whole thing now to be honest i at the verge of breaking up this relation as i dont want to hold someones life cuz of visa delays and same goes to me i am also suffering past many years from many perspectives..

Analyst,

We have been waiting for 4 years. We are 3 years behind you. There are times when my husband and I have wanted to give up on the visa but we never wanted to give up on each other. Do not break up your

relationship just now. Give it more time.

I know you are suffering and in pain. I know this because my husband and I feel this way everyday but God gives us strength and he has given strength to you also. Continue to pray and have faith that God will end

this nightmare you are going through and you will be with your loved one sometime soon.

Analyst... please don't break up with someone simply because of the delay. For how many years have you been in this relationship? Is this relationship less significant because you've been waiting for seven years...

I'll pray for you. Insha'Allah it will be okay. Amen. :-)

Analyst, I understand 7 years is a long time but I'm sure when he joins you, you will appreciate each other more.

Have you thought about moving to a different country where you both will be able to live together happily without going through long immigration process?
