Ahmadjutt: It's not that big a deal. I know someone whose status date changed yesterday but she got no emails/mails whatsoever. So, they're not very efficient at changing dates as soon as they reply to emails, you see. :-)

Just stopping by to send my thoughts and prayers to everyone still going thru such a heartbreaking time. We continue down the road of reaffirmation but its time consuming and a long process but we are praying daily that we will have good news eventually.

Yes, if embassy emails asking for medical or any other item send it ASAP

No, you can't do medical until you have something from embassy requesting it as they dont let you just go and do it without a letter from the embassy

For everyone on AP remember there are those of us who have been married or together a very long time either in AP or with the case sent back going thru the reaffirmation process and you MUST be patient and take each day at a time and enjoy your spouse or fiance and the conversations and short visits and just be thankful you have someone in your life you want to share it with.

don't let AP break you and don't continue the what if questions or when questions it will consume you. Just look at how blessed we are to have found our soul mates and our life partners and know that somehow someway we will be together in the end.

Allah knows what's best and when it's our time it will happen Inshallah

actually bro me upset that if they are not ready to issue visa soon why they demand the passport,even now i cant travell ,i was planning to go out country after eid but before eid i got call for passport submission,thats y its tough time

Thanks to Allah and everyone who ever raised hands for ending my horrible AP, i have no words to express my feelings, i am happy but sad at the same time for all of u to get ur visas earliest. inshaAllah u all will get soonest... i cant tell my feelings how excited i am,,, seeing the fare in my room they r great for NY but not for PA, anyways booking ticket for end of December...snowy...in Philadelphia..... thank you everyone... love u all.... ummah.... any free suggestion is welcome im coming ....statue of liberty

congrats! I'm really happy for you. Can you share how many times your date was updated on CEAC website before your case got approved?

Our case has been updated on the ceac website many many times. Some of the updates are them working on our case and others are emails they sent us asking for documents

and for my husband to come in for another interview. I pray any future updates will be them finishing our case.

EAbbas thank you so much for your encouraging words. I try to live day by day but sometimes I get so caught up in the visa process and it's not good. The embassy asked

for additional documents after my husband had his interview. I was able to email the documents to them. The embassy got them on Monday November 5th. Who knows how long

it will take for the embassy to review them. It could be a few weeks or a few months. We just don't know. Instead of so much worry about the visa process it is best to

just get on with life and loving our mates.

Our case has been updated multiple times since last week. It was first updated on October 30th after long time. Then it was updated on Nov 4,5,6, and 7(today). Please pray for us that we get out of AP this time. InshaAllah!

Did u re - submitted new medical n pcc photos etc prior to visa issuance? n where ur heading in Philli? as i have the same destination once visa will be given
