In March we submitted Affidavit of support, DS 230, medical exam and passport pics. I wrote the embassy and they wrote me back saying my affidavit of support was fine.

In September they called and emailed my husband to come in for an interview and to bring proof of ongoing relationship and that we needed a co-sponsor.

So you guys need another co sponsor and another interview? Are you guys CR1 or K1?

Today i got email reply from embassy

Dear Sir/Madam,

We understand that you are frutrated over the fact that the admin processing on your immigrant visa application is still pending. However, please refer to our earlier emails. We have clearly stated that the time duration for the completion of the admin processing cannot be predicted. In addition to this, we would also like to inform that as long as this processing is pending for completion, your visa application will not proceed further. Hence our response would remain the same.

Your medical report expires on February 27, 2014. Thus visa issued to you will have a maximum validity limited to this date. If you want to have a full six month validity visa, a new medical report will be rqruired. Keeping this date in mind you can decide to have a new medical report sent to our office. Our panel physician who conducted your last medical exam can help in this regard.

I need your opinion/advice.

I am in AP from September 2012, two months ago i submitted fresh medical, ds230 and new photos.. now the embassy is asking for original passport(only), which i submitted on last Monday. what are the chances of getting visa? and time frame.

As i am working abroad and need my passport, so how much time should i give to the embassy?

shoudnt take more then a week or two. email them and keep tracking from american express daily

they already have my passport since feb2013 ....

I had interview on Nov/28/2012 . still under A.P. married to us national and have a kid in us , us national.. case created on 3may 2012 .. now on 29 sep 2013 embassy contacted and demanded for new medical report , form ds230 , and photos , all were provided on 5th Oct 2013 but after that on 21Oct 2013 i got status update over ceac.state.gov , EXPIRING SOON , now emailing to embassy lets see what happens , calling to conslate but lahore conslate is closed for unknown reasons...

its very hard and its just killing me , it sucks me each day , very very hard to live without family ... ALLAH has given me son with his blessings but still i couldnt even touch him , now my son is 1.5yr old. and i am still waiting for visa..

my mother got us visa, sister is already in us and citizen and national.. my wife put my case .... she is also us national... i need your PRAYERS and kind words.. i waited so long and was seeing VJ.. since then.

no worries be happy cuz now the AP will be done within the next 4-8 months its a good sign when they ask for new docs as i have also submitted it recently after 7 years ..just hold your horseez :-) yes i m in AP for last 7 years n son is 5 years now so just imagine if i can survive this AP tsunami u can survive few months too may be earlier.. cheers

We are CR1. Our visa was denied then we won our appeal. It is the policy with reaffirmed cases to give another interview before a visa can be issued.

for how long he was in AP?

He was actually approved on the spot, my husband wanted to surprise me and online the status said necessary AP for two days then turned to issued,

congr. dear. pls tell me before they issue the visa did they call u or send to u any email? and tell me also about ur documents did u sent new again to them?? coz u said u was in AP 1 year 1 month first they ask u new medical etc.?? pls ans these questions?
