but what about my case man? it never goes any where it is in isl embassy from 3 months

My Husband called DOS last week n the person who was on tha fone told him that "every thing looks fine they dont need any additional document i dont know wht they are taking so long in issuing visa"

the my husband asked him that what kind of AP is this, is it name checks or security checks? the guy told him that "NO , name and security check are done in Washington and ur wife's case is not here with DOS it is in ISL Embassy."

If the embassy asks your congressman for a new medical then it is just like asking you. Print letter to congressman and take to medical.

i got my medical done already and inshallah soon i will be sending them.

Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone, i would like to share my story i joined VJ in 2011 and my journey kicked off in May 2011 when i filed for K-1 Visa. everything went smooth had my interview wife accompanied with me. got 221G including AP. sent docs then after two months they emailed us they are sending our case back to uscis with recommended of revocation, we decided to get married not to sit 6 months more on a case, later on within 2 weeks our case got reaffirmed and we couldn't do nothing cos we were already married.thereafter we took our initiative for CR-1 had my interview last month on September 20. wife accompanied with me again when i went for finger prints they didn't ask for photos and even CO didn;t even ask for the Photos something strange.after couple of questions CO clearly said he is issuing me the visa and he is very much satisfied with my relationship.me and my wife got our hopes up for a moment we were pretty much rejoiced, CO started to type in the pc and then all of a sudden he asked me if i ever used a given name. i have a Surname on my passport no given name, in my previous K-1 visa my moron lawyer used my father's name as my last name i thought its normal. but then we started to explain CO how our lawyer used my father's last name as my Given name. then he changed his mind handed me over a Green AP sheet i was much disappointed its all occurred due to the name my lawyer used. for the first 10 days my case updated 4 times. but since 30 September there is no changes in my case which is driving me insane i'm getting outta patience i should have had my visa my hand, helpless can't do nothing i can't concentrate even at work kept thinking of this i hope this will end soon and for everyone who is stuck in it Thanks.

I know it is hard for us to stay positive when we are going thru AP! It will be two months for us tomorrow! Believe in Allah and he has better plan for all of us. The delay we are facing has some good that we are not aware of.. Be Thankful, there are many who have been in AP for years. We are only few months in AP. Pray to ALLAH for all of us and specially for those who have been in AP for years. May Allah make this easy for all of us! Try to stay positive! Inshallah We will be together with our spouses soon Inshallah! . Ameen

I was told the same exact info by DOS! Stop chasing the process. There is nothing we can do. More information you try to obtain, more depressed you will get. There are no answers to our questions. We can only pray to Allah Almighty to unite us.. Inshallah day will come soon Praying for you sister!

Did your wife go or live in another country ?

i got my medical done already and inshallah soon i will be sending them.

Is the medical the entire procedure as the first, or only some of it ?

I sent a copy of the 2012 1040EZ, W-2's, paystubs, employment letter and proof of ongoing relationship to my husband yesterday. God willing he will get it Friday and go to his interview on Monday morning.

He is nervous. He thinks we should have waited for the 2012 transcript but I agree with you that he should interview now while they are giving out visas.

Hey there I'm new here, my husband just had his interview at Islamabad. He said it went well and the CO was nice. He asked basic relationship questions, question about how I got my immigration status in the US (via father who applied via employment base), my employment status and his, what my father does, how many times husband and I met and how recently. Then he looked at our wedding pictures. He took his passport and said we need to do further administrative checks. He didn't day whether everything looks good or not so we are nervous. I am wondering if that is supposed to hint at something negative, the fact that he didn't say whether everything looks good or not.

Btw how do you check case status? How do you guys know how many times embassy works on your case? Thanks

Are they doing the checks because my husband used to live in the UK?

23 days passed after submitting passport once it shows ready but again next day at Ap:( when i will get visa

You can check the status of your case at ceac.state.gov

ahmadjutt,

You should see that your visa is issued very soon now. Give it 2-3 days. They have to print the visa and get the "do not open" package ready.

what doc u have submitted,they ask only passport to me
