Aslaam O Alikum,

Everybody how u doing, My wife got interview at US Embassy at Islamabad on Dec 20, 2011. Everything went perfect except at the end she received from interviewer blue refusal sheet with 221(g) that needs additional documents from me, which I did mailed and emailed them, and they received it on Jan 10, 2012. Now its been a month now I don't know how long will it take. I emailed them to tell me how long will it take but no reply yet. Could anybody tell me is my case fine? Thanks

The embassy called my husband today and asked him to submit new medical and new police certificate ASAP. Last week they had asked for a written statement from my husband saying that he had never been arrested.

Is it a standard process for the embassy to ask for new medical and police certificate after six months of AP (10 months if we include the AR). Or they asked for it because they are getting ready to issue visa?

Any opinions?

Sounds like they will be issuing the visa very soon!!!!!

Thank you for the good wishes everybody.. yes im feeling better but the stomach bug i had was really bad and im still weak and nauseas but it will end soon im sure. Inshallah I pray we do hear good news but not just for me but all of us.. it is indeed a very difficult thing to go thru but we will prevail and our marriages stronger! AMEEN

Lahori82~ Walikum Asalam!!! Im very sorry for the AP and the document request. Sometimes it does take a month or so for the documents to be reviewed and put with the correct case to move the case forward. We also had a request and it took them 4-5 weeks to review and move us into our mandatory AP... LOL feeling like we won the lottery anyway give it some time. If you emailed the embassy there is a 50/50 chance they will reply and when they do they won't really tell you anything. Call DOS and make an inquiry.. they can usually tell you when they obtained the documents for review etc and if they were accpted and beyond that they will usually just say pending.

Good luck and I pray for all of us it won't be too much longer... Im sooo needed to see good news and redo my tracker.. im getting bored with the way it is right now

Hi Emmy, hope u r feeling much better now!!! Your words are truly inspiring for many ppls on AP, we keep on calling once per week, and everytime getting the same answer, (YOUR PAPERS ARE UNDER REVIEW)dont knw how long they take to review papers, but anywayz like u said, AP will end one day,, INSHALLAH,,,Mohsin and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on Feb 6th,,I got the cake and everything,, just that we had to cut it on skype,,, this was soo hard to do, but never the less we cant do better. But like I always say AP mayb able to bend us a bit,, but can never break us,, good luck to all on AP,, especially you Emmy Abbas,, I hope u hear something soon.

I just called DOS 10 mins ago my wife's Visa has been issued they will be mailing in a week Allah Tallah has heard my prayers Inshallah everybodys will be clear now
