I posted this as a new topic but nobody has answered maybe you guys can help me. To be sure the embassy will accept the co-sponsors Affidavit of Support how much

money should he make to be over the minimum 125%. A thousand, 2 thousand or 5 thousand?

I don't want him to be right at the 125% because I fear they would reject his I864. Somebody please help me.

Also I wrote to President Obama about my case 3 months ago. Today I got a letter from USCIS in the mail. I have not read the letter yet. I am too afraid to read the

letter. Why would USCIS be writing to me and not the Department of State? After 4 years of dealing with the visa process all my money is gone and my nerves are shot. I can't take it anymore. I feel so much pressure. If I tell my husband I got the letter he will say open it right away. So I am not going to tell him. I am just goingto leave the letter alone until I feel more courage.

Here is the link for poverty chart 2013. Its not the dollar amount. Main factor is number or people in the house hold.

Carolyn, I can't answer your question about the poverty line guidelines but to ease your fear, I had also written a letter to the White House a whole ago and got a response 2-3 days ago. It was also from USCIS-Customer Services (CoA?). They said that my letter was forwarded to USCIS - Customer Assistance Office, who then further contacted National Visa Center. NVC told them the date of when they received my file (case creation date) and the date it was forwarded to the Embassy of Islamabad - and if I have further questions, I should contact them. Complete B.S. As if I freaking don't already know that. Don't worry about it since I am sure you are also told more or less the same thing. Good luck.

Sooner or later you have to open that letter so muster up some courage and open it. Who knows what it contains, might be something good?

I would like to wish everyone the Best of Luck with your Journey. For personal reasons, ours is ending after 3 years of marriage and 5 years together. We have made a decision that is best for both of us. Please, I don't need to be judged as one person on here already has done in a personal email. I want to thank each and every one on here that has helped us and supported us in so many ways. I wish the best for all of you and will continue to check on you from time to time. I'm sharing because people write or ask me for updates and I don't want to leave you wondering.

Thank you again!!!! Praying for all of you. (especially those that have been with me since 2010 on here)

Hi Heartandsoul,

I am really sorry to hear that, You guys waited a long time like some of others. I am not judging and do not know your personal reasons but I would say you people should wait a little more ! you never know what is on the next corner for you. Have faith and you will hear something good soon inshallah.Don't let the AP process break your relation.Rest is your own choice, best of luck and live happy.

I am truly heartbroken and saddened for you. I do understand that sometimes these things happen and you have to move on with your life. I wish it wasn't this way for you but you are the one working with your relationship and only the two of you know what is best.

All we are currently doing is still waiting to hear anything... We just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary this week and it was bittersweet for us. No candle light dinner, no special outings just simply being online and talking about our hopes and dreams.

I pray that whatever you do that you find peace and happiness and there is always a future awaiting you and may it be blessed and happy.

I understand your anxiety Carolyn. I had the same reaction to a government response letter a couple of months ago. But the only way to overcome anxiety is to face it directly. Whenever you feel so anxious you need to push yourself more to do it and get it over with. Otherwise you will keep falling in bad habits and get crippled by your anxiety. I know its not any fun but try to do it :(

USCIS I-130 Petition for Spouse

NOA2 arrived 78 days after NOA1 :)

Thanks PuppyLove,

I opened and read the letter it just said that nobody even the President could help me with my case. It's all in the hands of the embassy.

I have read that people get help from senator or a good lawyer. have u tried that option?

I have both a senator and my lawyer helping me by sending emails to the embassy. They are just told the same information that I am. That we are in AP.

I am still waiting to get all the financial info from my co-sponsor. We just got his tax transcripts in the mail. Things are moving slowly but my husband should be

having his interview in 2 or 3 weeks. The embassy did not give him an appointment. They just said bring proof of ongoing relationship and the co-sponsor paperwork any

day at 8 am.

Our visa was denied and our case was reaffirmed. It is the policy of DOS that when a case is reaffirmed the beneficiary must have another interview before a visa can

be issued.
