just wanted to ask u couple of things though if u cud pls answer. first of all, did u see any updates on ur case like date changing on ceac wesbite for a few days consecutively before visa was issued or did it just change once on the day it was actually issued?

secondly, what was ur category? IR1?

third, when u had ur interview and were put in AP, did they request further docs from u at that time or u were just put in ap for other things?

and lastly, u mentioned that u were in AP for more than a year, so did embassy request for new docs and medical etc from u recently?

Brother my Catagory is B1/B2 , NON Immigrant which is totally different from your catagory.

My Status Change first time on 24th August 2013 after 1 year & 15 days & then on 26th August 2013 to ISSUED.

Today morning time i send email to embassy to know the status of my case and after 6 hours i got reply from embassy

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our record indicates that the subject immigrant visa case is still pending under administrative processing. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to predict as to how long it still may take. However as soon as this process has completed, we will contact the applicant using the contact information he/she has provided on his/her form DS-230. Please rest assured that this case has neither been forgotten, nor slipped through the cracks.

Today after 1 Year & 19 Days in AP , My Status is become ISSUED =D

Many Many congrates F Khan. Pray for others too who are stuck in AP. I have seen a couple more older cases too who got their visas recently ! say like 2 years of ap for them.
