Aslamualikum Every One & EID MUABARAK.

I have Complete One Year in AP Yesterday , Please Pray for Everyone on this Day.

My CR1 is in administrative processing from last september, i am consistantly in touch with embassy through email. The case was last updated on 1 august 2013 on ceac. Today i check the status and it saying Expiring soon.. waiting for your input on this... below is status update.

*****************************************************************************

Expiring Soon

Immigrant Visa Case Number: ISL*********** ISL Case Creation Date: **-***-2012 Status Updated Date: 12-Aug-2013

Section 203(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act requires that your registration be canceled and any petition approved on your behalf canceled, if you do not apply for your immigrant visa within one year of being advised to do so.

You were advised of this requirement over 1 year ago, but we have not received a response from you since then. As a result, your application for a visa has been canceled and any petition approved on your behalf has also been canceled.

Your application may be reinstated and any petition revalidated if, within one year, you can establish that your failure to pursue your immigrant visa application was due to circumstances beyond your control. Please provide a written statement to the Embassy or Consulate outlining the circumstances beyond your control and noting that you still wish to pursue this visa petition.

last day i email the embassy and they reply me in these words...

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refer to our email of August 7, 2013. This email clearly indicates the admin processing situation in your case. Our office would like to clarify that unless this situation has changed, there does not exist a reason for us to contact or review your case again. May we also remind that an immigrant visa application cannot be processed any further while the admin processing is pending.
Yours truly,

After this email i think that embassy cant do any thing if AP situation is happening to ur case, u have to set back and relax and let things happening as they are going on and pray to ALLAH SUBHANA WATALLAH becoz that the only hope for us.

My brother in law had interview today And he got approved dancin5hr.gif and co told him that we will send ur passport within 10 days. I am very happy for that coz he got the VISA, But the Thing is that why we all suffers from Ap situation, my brother in law has also a common name but he got approved ? SO i think that we cannot understand the immigration process of us embassy Islamabad.

hi Ayan_khan,

Expiring soon is a mistake, just email the embassy and let them know. They will put you back to administrative processing.

It went well. She arrive on time. They asked few questions like where does your husband work and where he lives? When did marriage take place? How did you meet? Was it love or arrange? Then they asked her for her birth and marriage certificate originals. I don't understand that part because I had sent all the originals to them and don't NVC schedule interview if they only have originals. Well then gave her a blue sheet with token and sealed envelope. And address where to pick up passport. They said everything looks good but for our end you can pick up ur passport in a month. It was two american and one pakistani. I think she answered in both ways.

Hello, this is my first post, I have been a silent vistor for quite some time. My journey started in Dec 2011. After a 10 month processing period at USCIS and few weeks at NVC, my husband had his interview at the Islamabad embassy on January 23, 2013. We are now almost 7 months in AP. I am curious to know if there have been any visa approvals where the petitioner is an American female of non-Pakistani origin and the beneficiary is a Pakistani male. The couple of cases that I have seen here on VJ have been in AP for years.

Approvals for applicants with that situation does take more time. There have been approvals though. One case I know was in AP for 5 months. Just hang in there!

And good to see someone from Fresno!

Sometime people get their visa and do not post. I know a couple where she is non-Pakistani and he is Pakistani and he got his visa in 3 weeks. They were blessed.

I also know another couple where he was 28 years old and she was 53 and non-Pakistani. He got his visa after 8 months in AP and is here in the States now.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refer to our emails since February 2013. These emails clearly indicate the admin processing situation in your case and that we cannot predict the time this still may take to complete. Our office would like to clarify that unless this situation has changed, there does not exist a reason for us to contact or review your case again. May we also remind that an immigrant visa application cannot be processed any further while the admin processing is pending.

Yours truly,
