Hi, not sure if it does, I actually went to the embassy myself, when I visited Pakistan. It was a year and half ago, if it was helpful, it would show it by now.

But it probably would not hurt to do that - our cases are different, and maybe in your case it would help.

Not much, the officer was polite and just said that waiting time does not depend on the embassy, but they send inquiries to other agencies, and wait for the response.

Last day i got this email from embassy..

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our record indicates that your submitted documents were received, reviewed and found good to support your visa application. However, the administrative processing on your visa application is still pending. Once it is done we our office will contact you. We remind at this time that we still cannot predict the time this processing still may take

Wife had to travel back n forth past 7 years and now mashAllah i have a 4 year old boy ...due to this insane wait time of IV i couldnt pursue any business or even a proper job as all jobs required traveling to USA and had to drop off cuz couldnt fullfill job requirment..just kinda doomed at the moment...please remember me in ur prayers as this is Ramadan and Allah does hear all ...rest it might be in my best interest to wait which has a total blind image to me but for Allah he always fulfills ones need at the right time and right place...
