Hi everyone I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you.

The ambassador is Richard Olson. There is no email address or phone number for him. He has to be contacted by writing a letter with his name on it and the address for the embassy. Don't forget to put your name, case number, address and phone number in the letter.

What I did was write a letter on my computer then send the letter over the internet to my husband in Pakistan. He printed the letter and took it to Speed-Ex in his city for them to send it to the embassy. Speed-Ex tried to talk him out of sending the letter but I told my husband to send it anyway. The only way to get documents to the embassy is use their couriers.

I think it is a great idea if we all write to him and let him know we are suffering. If you have sent new documents and the embassy is not working on your case talk about that in your letter. Don't sound angry and be respectful to the man. Just tell him the facts of your case and ask for his help.

She will have to contact the Pakistani embassy and get the application form for a visa to Pakistan. There is a place on the form where she will ask for a 5 year visa. she will need to send a copy of your marriage certificate with the form.

Smart Idea!! I would recommend same letter in same format signed by US spouses and send to congressmans, senator, and white house!

I received a letter from my Senator's office today. They emailed the embassy to ask why the embassy would ask for fresh documents and not issue the visa. The embassy replied that they asked for fresh documents so they could update the case file. The embassy wanted fresh documents so they could update their records.

I am very angry after reading this. They got my hopes up that we were finally going to get our visa in a short time. The embassy received our documents on April 25th and after that no work has been done on our case. So maybe that is why so many of us have sent fresh documents and haven't gotten out of AP. The embassy is updating their records.
