All,

We had our interview on December 12 and we were put on AP (Blue sheet, no additional documents requested). I have tried contacting the State department phone number, the embassy as well as asking my senator for help over the period of 4 months(less one week), all apparently futile efforts. For now, I think I have exhausted my options so now its just wait and see game from here on.

My prayers to all of us waiting for our visas to come through.

You can still contact your congressman but keep the note professional and short. I do not think they want alot of details and sad stories. They work for the american so as long as you are registerd to vote they should help you.

If you read a few posts back I have listed some places to email so you have not even begun to exhaust your options.

The letter to your congressman should say

"My husband is from Pakistan. His visa interview was Dec 12, 2012. He was placed in administrative processing. I have been unable to obtain further information on his case. I would appreciate a congressional inquiry. Please forward me the response they give you.

I actually did get the help from my senator and the embassy gave the standard reply to the senator as they give to us. I have a medical situation at my hands and I requested assistance on those grounds (while attaching the letter from surgeon).

On a side note, I have read your posts on this and other forums. Great job on keeping the people informed and helping them through this process.

EAbbas and Soccer.Player, special prayers for you as you seem to be waiting the longest and EAbbas with their extraordinary difficult circumstances.

Green Card Produced and Mailed :07/22/2014

Got 10 YEAR Green Card :25/07/2014
