Can we get Ambassador email address where we can send this letter?

Send it to Zardari or Nawaz sharif :P They are the only one who can approach US Ambassador. Otherwise there's no other way. Ambassadors are always busy taking care of so many other things. Good Luck

think you are on my place and u will understand better why i am doing this .its 3rd year in Ap ....

I don't understand what's wrong with your case. Have you already had interview at the US embassy Islamabad? Did your priority date become current? Seems like you are too impatient about your visa and Embassy doesn't want to approve your visa right now. It has already been so many years. :o

Just leave it alone and wait. There's nothing you can do about it.

together4never13 you absolutly right...this nice suggesstion.i have already told people's about this 3 months ago.but i dont know why these peoples dont wana be unite at one place about there rights who are under admin process from long time .

Getting a US visa is not you RIGHT :innocent:

People are under Admin process because Embassy is not sure about their cases and they are doing security checks on those applicants. You can't force US embassy to issue you a visa by protesting or uniting . That is not going to work. You will instead get beaten by Islamabad police

this thought will never do anything for us, better to be beaten then die a little each day, I am with anyone who want to protest anywhere, @islamabad or by Courier! We need someone to lead us actually, collect ppl, have banners, get transport, inform media and protest peacefully on the way of Embassy! to send your message in the world not like sit in front of computer READ and WRITE... EVEN though you believe nothing will happen still you should participate! (type "PROTEST" in reply to participate) then see the figure n then we start!

And then what do you think is going to happen ? Don't you think that people will laugh at you that you are protesting just to get visa to USA :o What will you write on banners ? "Please save me, I am on AP for 2 years , I want to get visa"

That's really not going to work. Because believe me It is not just US embassy , so many visa cases are pending in Embassies of Over 50 countries in Diplomatic Enclave Islamabad. Their cases are pending for security checks and background check on fraudulent cases !

Protest against your corrupt system in Pakistan. Corruption in Pakistan is worst ! that's the main reason US embassy is unable to verify applicants information. You have to fix your own system instead of protesting against Embassies :bonk:

No I am not against you. I wasn't talking about Email or writing a letter. I was talking about the other kind of protests that people do here in Pakistan.

I agree with PuppyLove somewhat. US dont owe Pakistani citizens any visas and its not a foreigner's RIGHT to obtain it. If anything, its about US spouse who has a right to apply for their spouse visa and receive a fair processing of their application. My husband and me are upset about our 22 months AP as much as other sufferers here, and agree that something needs to be done. I really like together4ever’s idea, but I think its USCs who should be sending those letters, not their Pakistani spouses.

As of Pakistanis, right, they could protest against overwhelming corruption which delays all these background checks.

do we submit the online complaint form for the delayed pocess of our visas to Office of Inspector General (OIG)/U.S. Department of State and the Broadcasting Board of Governors. and whther it will be helpful or not i am very anxious to any response comes in this regard. Thanks

Can we make a complaint and how can we make like , we place it in the mismanagement or.....

I think Maabish has the right idea.

Maybe Carolyn can tell you 3 important email addresses to send emails to?

I agree the petitioner has more power in contacting US officials but do not use that as an excuse to lie back and wait for the petitioner to do everything. Be proactive. You both can complain.

I think you CAN and SHOULD write the ambassador. I do not care how busy they are. They work for the people. You are THE PEOPLE the ambassador works for.

I do not agree with a physical protest in public. It is dangerous and if not done well can just make people look like idiots on TV.

I waited 5 weeks in AP before I started writing EVERYONE and their Mother!!! I did not just sit back and wait. His AP was done in 50 days.

And I disagree. It does not take years for a background check if someone is actively working on your file. If they place it on a desk and forget about it for 2 years and you do not complain then why would they focus on your file when they have many others complaining.

God gave you a voice so use it
