I am all confused..............

Last Friday i checked my wife's case status on DOS website and it stated Mandatory Administrative processing.

Today i checked and it says administrative processing.

Now question is what is difference between both ( Mandatory and regular administrative processing)

at my interview i was told ur case is fine but we need some admin processin that will take a month or two,keep de pspt return all de original dcnnt wiith a light green paper mention that we have suspended de adjudication of ur visato do admin processing this is normal part of visa process and is consider temporary refusal under 221g,now my quest is i m in 221g or in AP

Your in AP that's what the 221g is telling you that they can't finish issuing the visa until the other work is complete

Kind of feel a bit bad mentioning this here on the forum, but one of our family friends Daughter just ended her Engagement with a guy from Pakistan because of the long wait of AP, They were in AP for 14 months. Luckily it was just an Engagement and not a marriage. I hope this coming year we hear better news for all in AP and encourage everyone to stay strong and don’t loose hope from this.

There is no way for us to know how many couples break up because of the strain of long AP's. I am sorry for this couple. I know there are days when I feel like giving up and ending my marriage but I don't because I love my husband and promised to spend my life with him.

I applaud everyone who has the strength and courage to go through AP. My wife's case was in AP for almost 2 years and we thought it would never end. So hang in there and fight for your love, because at the end it worth every bit if the wait. Our prayers will continue to be with you all. Today i check my case status ...

Case Creation Date:21-Sep-2005Status Updated Date:28-Dec-2012

Status Updated Date change 2 times in 1 week ...and when 1st time web status start working then they change my Status Updated Date 7 time in 2 weeks...

its mean they are working on my case ....then why they are so slow in visa printing????

hi friends my interview for k1 visa was at 13th dec2012 , everthing was ok at the end co give me green paper,plz can anyony one tell me that for k1 visa ap is also very delayed
