The US does not hate Muslims, at all.

In Other countries Ap time is only 45 or 90 days and in Pakistan 1 year 2 year Why??????

I understand your pain and anger. Our case spent 16 months in AP before the visa was denied. Our case was reaffirmed and sent back to the embassy. Instead of a new interview our case was placed back in AP where it has been for 6 months.

I don't know why Pakistani people suffer longer AP's. I really believe it has nothing to do with being Muslim but every thing to do with being Pakistani. It's hard for people who got their visas right away to understand what we are going through. All the waiting and not knowing is so stressful on the mind and body. We don't know how many couples break-up because of the stress.

I just try to remain calm and not get angry. I talk to God a lot and spend as much time as possible online with my husband. All we can do is wait and being angry and bitter just makes the wait harder.

i am angry because why they not tell us clear that they are going to issue visa or not.....why they ruin our lives....if we wait only for visa for 2 or 3 years and after this they deny our visa then????every other country us embassy site have option to check the Ap status and in pak nothing ...No one knows what is Ap and why it is taking so long dos operator said it is taking long time bcz every case is diffrent from each other

i am also waiting since 28 july 2010 but now i have ho0pe but also i dont.so even if i get ot not the visa i will have no happiness no sad feeling.

My husband had his interview on sept, 21, 2011 and Alhamdulilah today he got the visa after being put in AP for about 3 months.

Alhamdulillah that so great news!!!!!!! God is good!

My husband is Egyptian and though we still waiting in AP I feel happy see others pass this stage it gives me hope!

I called us number 2026631225 to get the status of our case. The visa specialist asked me if we were told to do the new medical since my wife's medical has expired. We did not recive any phone call or email or a letter from Islamabad consulate. Anyways, does anyone know what to take with us to to doctor for the medical. last time we took the interview letter with us.

You should consider Writ of mandamus. Did you call DOS?? are you in routine Administrative process or mandatory AP?? If you dont know then contact DOS and ask them as routine AP is done at embassy level and mandatory AP is done back in DC.

AFAIK, they cant make their decision without finishing the process.

Thanks, it is working for sure. But I wanted to ask one thing for Immigrant Visa, what do they mean by Case Creation Date and Status Updated Date. The time span is almost 8 months in between for my case. Any word on that..

I think its the date when case transferred/shifted to NVC from USCIS.
