Hi Emmy,, HRU? Well finally I have mail all the papers to Mohsin that the embassy had asked for last wee he sent in the new co sponsor along with all the supporting

documents and this week, i manage to get them 2011 tax papers for myself, it wasnt easy but i did it,,, I hope that they wouldnt ask for anything else,, now we r hopping and praying that we hear from them soon.And Emmy u and Addy is also in our prayers, Inshallah we both will get good news soon.

The CO that gave my husband his 2nd interview came to my husbands city today. He walked around the area with a picture of my husband asking questions to the neighbors and shop keepers.

after 2 interviews and a home visit I hope the embassy is now ready to make a decision on our case.

its very strange and i never heard like this if it happens its not into my knowledge.i dont know what they wnat to confirm and please do tell me that CO was a gora aand what he tried to confirm and most importanlty that how you come to know that he came or did this is there any knid of intimatin before this visit.

if you look at previous visa journeys from pakistan you will see while it isnt common it does happen when they want to verify things in the case. There was one where i read they had two investigations...it happens altho not to everybody.

It's been 8 months sense our 2nd interview and the CO wanted to talk to neighbors and friends of my husband. He asked if they knew if my husband was married? He asked if my husband was a good person? He asked the shop keepers if my husband owed them any money? He had a picture of my husband that he showed to people and said do you know this man? He went to the union hall and asked to see our papers for proof that we were legally married.

My husband is very well known in Sialkot. People called him on his mobile and said there is a man walking around asking questions about you. The CO even found my husband's cousin in one of the shops and asked him a lot of questions. The CO went next door to my husband's house to question a neighbor. My husband could hear his voice and knew it was the Pakistani American who gave him his 2nd interview.

So I guess the CO's can do home investigations at any time. I only hope that the CO will make a decision on our visa in a few days.

Carolyn, since they are doing field investigation they should make a decision very soon. Hang in there. You will hear good news soon inshallah. Did you already file the writ of mandamus or atleast tell them you would file? Is that the reason they started working on your case?

when i had K1 after 12 month to AP lady CO visited my wife's apartment in U.S

There is no way to tell him if my email got them working on our case. I hope that it did.

I want to know that what r the contents or what you wrote in the mail to embassy regarding writ of mandamus because i am also victim of this situation so please tell me your specimen of email.

My fiancee got approved today. Very thankful to almighty for this wonderful day.. She interviewed on December 19, but put on AP. Exactly 3 wks later, she got approved.

I was called State Department phone number here in Washington DC each day. They can provide latest status to your K1 / or other types of cases in PK or any other country.
