My fiance had his interview on March 5, 2011. The CO told him that his case is in AP, but it's nothing to worry about because everyone gets in AP and that it'll pass within 1-3 months. We waited for 3 months without calling the DOS or the embassy, and we got no answer. After the 3 months, I started calling DOS and he started calling the embassy in Islamabad. The only answer we would get is that the case is still in AP and that they can't give us any answer of when it will be cleared up and when my fiance will get his visa.

So it has been 8 months since our case has been in AP and it has been a total of 16 months since we have applied for the Fiance Visa (we applied in July of 2011).

I hope and pray that the visa gets accepted soon.

Comprehensive immigration reform ,

Can any one tell me , Comprehensive immigration reform will have some positive impact on AP cases ???

will AP duration minimize ? or there would be no effect of CIR on AP.??

hello to all respected pakistani memebers who are still in AP with me.we are celebrating oue second wedding anniversary and its 2 months and 2 days in AP today.my wife is here with me and she calls 2 times in a week to DOS.monday and friday,every time same answer still in AP,and we cant tell you any more detail.last night she called DOS again same answer AP then she insisted that please tell me any recent update on my case,then operator responded that since AP there is very recent update is on your case i cant tell you anymore...i hope they have now started working on my case..please prey for me and all vj pakistani member who are in AP,get there visa soon INSHALLAH....

Thank you I only wish I didn't have so many names to post for pending it truly breaks my heart and if I miss anybody I will try to update when I get home I check often from my phone but it's impossible to create and update from there

I just pray to see good news coming soo. I know for us we have been waiting 17 months and I know how painful it is so everyone keep your faith keep your strength and k ow that Allah does not find a soul mate for you without a plan of the future ahead

Sorry for mistakes ...i am not good in englishif All Pakistani peoples unite at one place who are in ap from long time and make press confrence to ask real reason from American embassador why they put every pakistani into dark whole Ap......why they allow peoples to file petition for there loved one if they dont wana give him/ her visa on time??????over government can't do anything for us .we have to do something for ourself...
