And discuss what has been done, what can be done, and just, kind of, keep together.

It going on 11 months for us. Last update on our case was a field investigation which was done over 2 months ago. All I know is that it's become more stressful on everyone involved. Soon it will be a year and we will have to get our medical redone.

Those of you who have been waiting on AP for a long time, do you sometimes wonder why its taken so long for you?? Example: you use to live in 2 countries or more, or age different or been divorce so many times ...ect............Im just asking so i can have a idea in my mind about this AP thing.

I out case they sent two guys to my uncles house in faislabad asking him questions about our wedding and my visit. This was done during Ramadan and we have no idea of the outcome.

In our case non of the issues you listed are the reasons. They hardly tell you what the reason for AP is. Mostly they say it just a normal process that everyone goes through. It just some take longer than others.

In our case:

Different countries of origin (I got US citizenship right before applying for my husband's visa)

Different religions

He lived in 2 other countries besides Pakistan

Of course, no one at the Embassy named any reasons for AP, but we believe, those are the reasons.
