Plus with this new phone tax the paki government just imposed makes even harder to connect with eachother. I am not sure what we can do. But hang in there.

Hey I'm glad we are all in this together but I wish none of us were in this at all. In reference to your phone situation, you ever think of sending a magic jack? I sent one, it works wonders. Also Im not sure what kind of phone you have but lots of iPhone apps out there for free calls. Worth the investment. If not iPhone iPod touch works just as good if you have wifi.

Well I took it with me when I went a few years ago. I didnt know it'd be that expensive to mail. Try dhl or USPS.

well majic jack, talkatone calls works just fine. if your spouse has a iphone tell her to download from appstore, its free (maybe) but if its not then let me know i will tell you the way how to do it for free.

Just a general question. How long after waiting in AP should we start to get concerned that our case might get denied. I'm worried that if were in AP so long than our case is denied, all that wasted time. Also, the linger in AP the more for concern? Your thoughts?

I agree with you I think if you have waited 90 days and nothing has happened then start contacting your senator and congressman etc. some will recommend even sooner but it's up to you. I saw a video on YouTube one of the interviewing agents asking not to make inquiries because that slows down the process

There is deviation in the duration of the wait. Actually if you call the DOS help line and listen to their recording on AP, standard wait resolution is declared to be done within 60 days and at the end he says OR MORE DEPENDING ON THE CASE.

In my case I waited the standard 60 days before my fiance took the case up with the congress man. So I think watch out for a minimum of 60 days and if you are more patient, then a maximum of 90 days will surely come up with results if it is positive and doesn't have red flags. If not, then after the period, contact senator/congress man.

You and I are in the same boat. My wife had her interview on 12/22/2011 about 2 days after yours. We have also spent close to 10 months in AP with no light at the end of the tunnel. But stay positive bro it had to end soon. Btw keep contacting your senator or congressman. My senator's office said to call them every month if there is no movement on the case. So I will do what I can and continue to fight.

The best thing about my visa is, i got confirmation of my visa's approval 5 minutes before the day of my birthday was over, i.e, 9th October.

And I got my ticket for the date on which my Fiancee' has her birthday.

This will be the most memorable moment of my life indeed.
