I-134 form, what is the minimum income

Someone please explain to me, what is the minimum income to sponsor your fiance,and I read that you need to show your bank statement. Do they want to know how much money you have. Does having more money help your causes or having less money in the account derail your causes.

There is a general requirement that you need to earn 125% of the poverty level for the size of your family plus the beneficiary. If you are active duty military it's 100%

If you don't meet those income requirements you can have a cosponsor. No real need to show your bank statement at this point. I did provide a letter from my bank that listed the total deposits for the past 12 months to support my I-134.

There really isn't something that can help or hurt your cause so to speak. Things can effect the outcome of your petition but if you just follow instructions and the guides here on VJ you should be fine.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

*Started the AOS process a bit late cuse I'm a slacker and suck

But, we've had no issues. It's coming along. Interview should

be shortly coming. Married life is great*
