We have gone through the process of filing AOS as my husband came legally on tourist visa and overstayed, married a US citzen(me!). We got a notice of interview for Jan 2012 then after a few weeks got a second notice saying the interview was cancelled! the last sentence reading "you will be notified of any further action including any rescheduled interview information". What?! Has this happened to anyone else, should I call USCIS...could there be a problem??

Help!!

it hasn't happened to me but it's normal. they will just reschedule the interview, it has nothing to do with you, just internal affairs. It could be that they scheduled too many people that day, the officer won't be able to make it that day, who knows.

don't worry, you will get a letter with the new interview date.

It happens sometimes. But you should show up at the original time anyway, because sometimes the memo doesn't get to your local office. This has happened to some people and then they have been denied for not showing up because their local office was still expecting them. Search for "rescheduled interview" or something similar on the forums to see other peoples situations.
