Did not cash check for child's I-485

My checks for my wife's I-485, EAD, and Biometrics were cashed, yet USCIS did not cash the check for my step-daughter(age 5). I guess I will find out why when I receive the NOA1.

Maybe they will do it soon.

Or maybe you added the biometric fee ($70) by accident to the fee for your daughter's AOS, so they won't cash the check since the summ is not exact.

If the total of the check for your step-daughter's applications was incorrect, they will return the whole package requesting another check in the right amount. Just send it back with the correct amount as quickly as possible.

Or, they may cash the check later than your wife's check.

Same thing happened when I filed AOS for my daughter (age 7)

Watch the mail or a "Rejected" package (make correction(s) and return asap), or watch your bank account for the cashed checks.
