Need help applying for schengen visa to go Norway

Hi VJ friends,

I have an upcoming AOS interview and if we got approved, we are going to visit Norway. But I need to apply for a visa.

I wanna know if anybody here who is a green card holder has done this before? Apply for a Visa to Norway(schengen visa)?

How and where to apply? I live in Louisiana.

Please share your experience and knowledge on how to do this. Thanks in advance! :)

FYI the country im from has not signed a VWP to enter Norway. Thats why i need a visa.

Google is your friend.

You have to apply at one of Norwegian Embassies in either San Francisco, New York or Houston, depending on where you reside.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

Thanks! Is there any way I can apply without going to another state? Or thats the requirement?
