So silly me, for some reason when I sent in my petition for the k1 visa, I only sent in pictures of our meeting in Egypt. I never sent any emails or chat messages. It was accepted and sent to the California center and is being reviewed. Does anyone know if they will likely ask me for more proof, or will they just leave that up to my fiance when he interviews? I know, stupid mistake, but any thoughts will be helpful. Thank you :)

They will want to see passport stamps as hard proof that you were in Egypt to meet. A boarding ticket is not enough.

As for other proof such as chat logs etc, those are brought to the interview (though not always looked at). Some countries need to front load (due to high fraud cases, while others require no front loading at the petition stage. I'm not sure for you, you'd have to ask from people who've gone through the same consulate.

I see that you're going through the Saudi Arabia consulate.

I'll take a guess that you both traveled to Egypt to meet? In that case, make copies of both of your boarding passes and both of your passports. There is as high chance that you'll receive an RFE, as they will want to see primary evidence of you both being in the same country.

Yes, through Riyadh in Saudi. Gee.. I didn't keep my boarding pass, and I know that he probably doesn't have his either. God willing, whatever proof they ask for we can supply. Thank you for your answers.

It's ok if you don't have the boarding passes. Have him send colored photocopies of his passport to you. Have photocopies of yours ready. I do not think boarding passes are necessary. You could print out itineraries, and I suppose call the airlines to get confirmation that you both boarded the flights. But, your passports should be enough.

Good luck.
