i totally agree with you on this... counting the days is just pointless and only leads a person to insanity

:) that is exactly why I don't count. Though, my ticker will often remind "oh hey another two weeks has passed."

Congrats on your NOA-2! I wonder how CSC managed to adjudicate July 20th filers without touching July 15th petitions. :whistle:

I am happy for your approval, just wish USCIS could have taken 20 minutes to approve mine before going 5 days past my submission.

God USCIS sucks.

I am a numbers person. I count, I have things on spreadsheets. It is the ONLY thing keeping me a tad bit sane in this process. We all have to keep focused on what keeps our feet still on the ground. After our conversation with the call centre last night and verified what their job really entailed I have pretty much reserved myself to being here until next summer. Anything more would be a bonus. sigh... I am sad though I have missed so many events state side. Oh well next year..

Terri

ps- not that it really matters to anyone but our numbers are in our time line

Now there are only 5 people in the 7 years of records here for Vancouver/VSC has waited longer than us for their NOA2. I'm sorry if I'm not over the moon for all the happiness all the time (well I am happy for those moving on) But I'm trying to remain positive. How do I determine how my day was... by counting how many times I've cried. Yup Terri has lost control of her senses.

Terri,

You my friend, have more reason than most to be upset and angry at this process. I can not understand how you are not able to get any answers about your petition, and it definitely is not fair that others who filed MONTHS after you now have visa in hand and are preparing to POE.

I don't begrudge anyone who filed after me getting their NOA-2 before me, but I must admit I don't understand how that could happen. I can understand a day or two difference in petition dates getting their approval first, but MONTHS? USCIS needs a total revamping and need to be answerable to SOMEONE.

I am so praying for your journey to finally be over and allow you your happiness. I am sure it will come any day now - it just HAS to.

I am so sorry you are going through this bull$hit.

i totally agree with you on this... counting the days is just pointless and only leads a person to insanity

<tried doing multiple quotes...didit work.. anyway>

Same here... Coun't it by months instead. I read somewhere that if you don't get anything by 8 months, then you definitely need to call and check. Counting days would just lead to paranoia. Wish the best for those who are waiting for NOA2.. Hope it comes sooner than 8 months. In the meantime, try to forget about it for a few weeks. I know it sounds crazy and you probably need a lot of determination, but it helps a lot and keeps you sane:)

btw.. this isn't intended towards Dan & Jenni..I'm just going off of what they said
