About 13 months now I still don’t approve yet, I wrote an e mail to (VSC.NCSCFollowup@uscis.dhs.gov ) follow up from Vermont and I got a reply yesterday starting this ####### below. I think this e mail is just a story because base on their uscis website the current approval date is November 20, 2010 and this information was updated on 14 November 2011...

Here comes their reply….

The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required security checks remain pending.

Until the security checks have been completed, we cannot move forward on your case. These security checks are required to be completed on all applicants who apply for the immigration benefit you are seeking. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the security checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact us by calling our customer service number provided below.

For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. while in the U.S , did you move around a lot ( change states apartments, jobs etc )? I believe ( my opinion) that it could affect how long people petition takes before approval since they have to check all these about the petitioner before approving a case.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

Take heart. Looks like the F2A processing has sped up. My step daughter arrived last month and her F2A process took a little more than three and a half years.

!!1 FINALLY APPROVE AFTER 1 YEARS 5 MONTHS...

The long journey of waiting finally came to an end on the April 17, 2012.

I called USCIS on the 23 of March and did a services request for the second time. I also got a letter saying that we understand the fact that this petition has been out of the normal processing time and expect to hear from us the final decision about this petition within 60 days.

But I came back on vacation from seeing my wife and on the 18, April and my wife told me she just check on the website and seem she has been approve. After checking on the website I noticed my petition was approve on the April, 17, 2012 the same day I was coming back from seeing my wife. GOD IS GREAT ALL THE TIME.

I also have a strong feeling that she will get this visa by the end of this year or early next year btw March-June

Post Decision Activity
