I went for my interview on the 8th of Dec, I was approved by the Grace Of God my original documents were returned to me but, my police certificate was not returned to me. is this normal? will i need it at the port of entry? secondly there was a white paper at the back of the sealed envelop they gave to me at the vf global office when i went for collection. The paper contains my data but there is something there that confuses me they included mothers name and father name on it and they wrote my spouse mother's name and father's name on it. i do not understand plz someone help me explain this............

It appears to be only a part fo their background investigation. My petition had been forwarded to the fraud unit due to a US tax lien, several years ago w/o my knowledge. The original documents and the fraud investigation were handed back to me as well. They investigated all family they could connect me to as well as my brothers spouse and her family. They probably looked at your families immigration history and parents are a common key to siblings. I can imagine Lagos will go crazy if Joseph ever does a petition for siblings when he gets to be a USC , he has 21

No, you will not need the police certificate separately when you enter. It's inside the sealed envelope. Leave it sealed and hand it over at entry. They will open it. Keep it with you, not in your checked luggage.

Actually, once the certificate is successfully used to obtain a visa, it becomes useless for any other purpose. BECAUSE it's sealed in the brown envelope. It actually exists for no other purpose anyway.
