Is this a RFE email ?

I am not sure what this email means. I received 2 emails and they were both the same. Is this a typical RFE email notice ?

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On September 25, 2006, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I not sure why they would be saying they are responding to my request for information and not the other way around. I am still waiting for my IMBRA RFE btw.

Did you call them for a case status? This email means they responded to an information request and are probably sending you an email or letter saying your case is still being processed.

An RFE email indicates clearly that they sent you a request for more evidence - this is NOT that.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I thought too. I guess it is back to more waiting. I have not even received my IMBRA rfe and this is getting frustrating.

The way it is worded dose not sound like an RFE, just an acknowledgment to a request for case status made by you. The Usual give us another 30 days before requesting info again.
