Well, I've been viewing this website nearly every day the past 3-4 months.. just to see what people have been posting about their journeys and even freaking out because of the i-134 questions, but anyways, my fiance's interview was nearly 2 hours ago, and since of course I couldn't sleep, I stayed up and hearing the "We are approved" over the phone just made me even more excited to the point where I can't fall asleep!

I'm sure he will be posting or mentioning his interview result here. However I'd love to thank this website! You guys have helped us so much with answering like 95% of our questions! the other 5% well... we contacted the Embassy for that information!

Our main concern was the i-134 but the first lady didn't even bother to accept my co-sponsors according to James... apparently since I was employed part-time or full-time it didn't matter, the fact was that I was employed and that was enough for them! Might I add that I am a full time college student as well! And even better, the first lady was super nice to him! But well, the CO had a few questions :innocent:

Some questions were about how we met, and such. It was pretty brief. But of course like most people, we brought much much evidence, best to be well prepared than not have enough! I don't believe that was mentioned but by how few questions asked, it seems like most of the stuff the CO didn't even see! The only problem was that he mentioned the income was pretty tight. They asked how he would support himself and James told them about his bank account as well and that he was here for 3 months nearly (like 80 days) earlier this year and was WELL supported. Plus he talked about getting a job when he could to help support us even more and going to attend College. I only have 2 more years of University, then I will have a bachelors in forensic science so the income will definitely improve on my part in the future!

I guess it just really depends on the CO that you get... truly and we got an understanding one, that's for sure.

They mentioned to him about the AoS stage and that we would be using those co-sponsors then, as they are in the same household anyway (which is awe-some) which from what I read you can combine their incomes.

And well, the result, approved! & they took his passport and said it will arrive within 5-10 days, sometimes it can take 3-4 but ... all I know is that all the hard work and dedication has paid off, big time. :)

If anybody has questions... I don't know if I can answer... but I'm sure James could answer about the Embassy itself. It's the Holiday season and the best Christmas gift would be an approval... at least that was mine.

Thank you for your help! We are excited. & We will be sticking around on VisaJourney! And.. I do view VisaJourney through my cell phone as well!

And to those who have interviews nearby or still in the process regarding whatever Embassy they must go to and all that paperwork, best of luck to you and hope your journey goes well!!

Thanks again to this website and all the contributors! =]
