I just want to know how I can tell if they're real or fake because I talked to a Muslim guy in the store today. Was he not a real Muslim? How would I know?

Whoever's schooling you they are doing a terrible job. Egypt invaded Israel twice and the only reason Egypt got the Sinai back was because of the Camp David Accords. Israel routed the Egyptian forces and were less than 30k from the outskirts of Cairo with the Egyptian forces in tatters after the Israeli's crushed them.

LOL. Have at it, Wizard of Wikipedia. 1973 is the only time that Egypt invaded Israel, and that itself was a response to Israel's invasion and occupation of Eygpt (the Sinai) in 1967. The 1973 war is what led to the Camp David Accords, so basically, Egypt achieved its goals in that war.
