Hi all :)

I have a question... in the petition has been listed my son, but he will follow to join after 6 months of my arrival, I dont have the permission from his father yet, but I will have it in the moment he goes to the interview... the questions are:

-Does he have to go with me to the interview?

-Can I schedule an interview for him after mine a couple of months earlier to the date we have planned for him to go? I will have all his doccumentation by that time.

-I do not have the medical either, because I have been planning to do all that later for him.

Please, can anyone tell me if my thoughts are right?

Thank you very much!

He can do all of that later, he is not applying for a visa now.

Remember that if you plan to go back in "a couple months" you will have to have a green card or EAD. You cannot just "go back" anytime you want with a K-1. You need to arrive, get married and file for the AOS, then receive the AP, usually 2-3 months after filing the AOS. You are looking at 3-4 months minimum before you will be able to go back for your son.

Hi :) thank you very much for your answer it really gives me much calm!, yes I am aware of that I plan to start all the process for my son in about 3 months after my arrival and have him with us 6 months after, I will ask my mom to help me with the medical and interview and go with him, I think that I may come back to take him to US by july :)
