Hello VJ.

I have a problem with the request in the K-3.

Thy asking me for medical history and shotrecord.

when i was still in belgium readdy to go here the belgian Embassy gave me a brown envlope with all my forms and papers in there.

Witch i could not open myself, thy said it was for the (POE) officer at the airport ... so thy reviewed me and everything was fine over there.

thy said u have 90 day's to get married and all that, but thy never gave me that brown envlope back to me... so im thinking what now ?

what do i need tho do ? call the airport and ask if thy have my brown envlope still ? or do i have to fly the whole way back ? if thy ask for more evidence ?

would my parents be able to get me my papers if its requested for the medical ?

~~Jorim

Sorry but that envelope is not for you. They CBP take it and send it to USCIS. That is what is supposed to happen. You should have brought copys of your shots and such if you needed them in the USA.

K-3 ? Cool !

You have 2 years to file for an Adjustment of Status.

Don't sweat the medical exam, just take another one prior to filling out the I-485.

Good Luck ! Let us know how it goes, soonish, aye?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

thy said u have 90 day's to get married and all that,

Which visa do you have? What does it say on your passport?

If you came here on a K-3, you should have already been married before you started the whole visa process - since now the nearly extinct K-3 visa was for spouses of US citizens or legal residents.

If you came as a K-1, a fiancee visa, then you have 90 days to get married.

If it's K-1 or K-3, in either case, the brown medical envelope is supposed to be taken at the border when you enter the US. So so far it seems correct.

I also see F-1 in your profile. So which visa do you have?

USAn Suomalaisten Foorumi <-- online place for the Finnish in US

Blog

938 days to get K-3.

AOS approved on day 1304.

you are a k-1 visa holder.

o k

sometimes, it's helpful if you have the correct visa type in yer profile, and post in the correct forum.

sometimes.

Shot Record can be amended by the I-693 via a Civil Surgeon in the USA.

The other 'medical history' was already submitted,

however -

I have a problem with the request in the K-3.

Thy asking me for medical history and shotrecord.

Please describe, exactly, what this request is, who is giving it to you, how you got it in your hands, then

tell me who is 'Thy'.

Be as specific as you can, please ?

You are K1. And it is not because you are married you become K3 ;)

Thy = They

Go to a doctor here to fill out the medical or ask the doctor in Belgium to send your vaccination record

ya, i'm guessing there's some AOS from K-1 in play, at the monent, either

he's just filling in forms and was reading the instructions in the I-485

or

it's already been sent in, and this is some RFE.
