If you are denied your K1 visa and submit a waiver and are still denied what have you done about it? There are certain things that make a person inadmissible to the US that never change. What will you do if you fall into that category?

Well I'm not in that category, but if I was... we'd move to Europe, maybe Asia (where we met) I'd say! I mean, it's only America we're talkin' about! It's only ONE country in the WHOLE WORLD! No big deal if I couldn't get in. In my opinion!

Move to their country or a country where you both can obtain a permanent visa to live. You're obviously not going to do it in the US!

I totally agree!! If there was absolutely, positively, no way for my fiance to enter the country legally - then I would move to Scotland.

I would move to Russia to be with my Victor! I'd study Russian extra hard so I'd be employable and not have to be completely dependent. I'd assimilate to the culture. It's worth it to be with the one I can't live without! :star: I feel at home when I'm with him, so as long as we're together anywhere is home! :)

  • 01-05-2012: NOA2 (184 days since NOA1)
  • 01-13-2012: NVC passed
  • 01-19-2012: Embassy received our case
  • 02-14-2012: Interview PASSED! :D K-1 Visa Approved! :D
  • 03-08-2012: POE
  • 04-07-2012: Wedding!

AOS/EAD Timeline (04.26.2012 - 12.13.2012)

  • 04-26-2012: I-485 and I-765 sent to Chicago Lockbox
  • 05-02-2012: NOA1 (both I-485 and I-765)

South of France, maybe Dijon? :D I loved Dijon, small city as it is (and definitely nothing compared to Paris, as most think!). And Asia is fantabulous ;) I recommend that, haha.

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

you move to another place. Canada is pretty awesome, and from what I heard Australia is not bad either.
