DCF in New Delhi. Haven't received any NOAs

Hi,

My wife, an USC, filed an I-130 for me in New Delhi, India on 18th October 2011. Our application was accepted along with a few photographs, copies of our passports and her Indian immigration registration documents. My wife was told to pay the fees and then they said that we would hear something from the US Embassy in Mumbai in 2-3 months.

Now, my questions are -

1. Should I be worried that they haven't sent me any Notice of Action saying that they have received my application?

2. It's almost been two months and I haven't received anything from the US embassy in Mumbai. Should I be worried?

3. I have tried contacting the Delhi Embassy via email a lot of times but haven't received a reply and all our efforts to get in touch with an American Consular Officer via phone have been in vain. Can anyone suggest a way to get the case number and status of our case?

It is strange that they have not yet assigned the case number. Plus they should accept the fee of I-130 at the time of filing. Originally we thought to follow this mode in Delhi, but we then decided to file it from USA directly.

We paid the fees at the time of filing. We thought DCF was faster and hence opted for the DCF route.
