What can I do now? I have no update from uscis whether the package has been received or not. I have sent email to US embassy in Nigeria; my senator called on my behalf some months ago

Who can I contact for an update, USCIS, NVC, DOS, lagos embassy?

Does anyone the phone #s for these group./ I guess our case in Admin review since we were told our case will be sent back. Pls share experiences

Thank you always, VJ family

Sorry to hear this. Yes this has happened to me.

Well you cant push any harder them I have or call to much like I did.

Some advice Pls from someone who has been there and is still going thru

this. Wait and be patient, pray and wait.

It will depend on how the consulate sent the case back. ( ours took 4 months to come back)

I called my congressman, DOS, USCIS, NVC and anyone else who I thought might help

but I found out the case will come in time, so pls be patient, yes it is a hard thing to do after what you

have already been thru.... It will come back to the states.

As for me I want to know how long til we get word again. I have been told that once back it goes to the bottom of the pile.

and any and all new cases filed will be put ahead of our case.. WOW how so unfair we file and wait and wait and then wait more

with our lifes on hold and time passing us by. In some cases years and years apart.

When will we be happy and become that family we just want to be..

I do pray you and yours will be together so very soon.

so sorry to hear that. I have a friend whose kids were also denied in Lagos with intent to Revoke since october and she is almost going crazy with her attorney because she says she has not heard anythingfrom USCIS or NVC. Since I joined here I realized that it appears the normal thing is to wait in such circumstance.

Hopefully it works out well. I have tried telling her to use the opportunity and start gathering additonial evidences that she can just in case.

I wish you well.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

Lagos likes to sit on returned cases. Four months isn't uncommon. When it returns you will get a letter that it has returned. What did they tell your representive when they inquired ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I think it all depends on Lagos consulate and the nature of your case.Be sure that DOS or USCIS will notify you as soon as they receive your case. Your case might still be in Lagos for some review and you may be given second interview.I am telling you this from our experience.I was denied and was told that our petition will be return to USCIS for possible revocation. But guess what? they hold down our application for good FOUR months after which i was given a second interview. You can read our story.Me and my QUEEN left Nigeria for united states on the 1st of December with less than ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS one way ticket. We think you should be patient and hope for the best.
