Hi all,

I haven't been checking this site for a while now, but here i am with a broken heart i type these lines.

I worked so hard to get my so called husband here (which i think all of us do), he is here work two jobs, send his family money, i lend him more money which he still say i'll pay you later. money is not a concern here, i found out that he married me just to get here, and because we are both from the same country it was easy for him to get here, he has the 2 conditional green card, he want to stay till he gets his permanent green card and move on. i feel like i been hit by a train, i can't beleive that such ppl exist, i know i was fooled .

i need help, i read i can report him but INS won't do anything, i don't want to be used, can anyone help me pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze..

Print the emails.

Do you suspect he's cheating? Have you overheard conversations with his family or friends? All of this can be proof if you provide evidence. If you can, record his conversations. If you think he's with someone else, hire a private detective and get pictures. Get his lying butt of your life and out of the US if possible!

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

May want to send an email on your suspicions to the consulate in Morocco. That way, if he attempts to petition a wife from there in the future, they'll have him on the books.

Great point! When I went to my fiancee's interview in Egypt there were many posters asking to stop fraud and to please call if you suspect of someone committing fraud. MOrocco is also a high fraud country. Maybe they'll greatly appreciate the information and follow up on it.

Sorry to hear about your situation. The previous posters have pretty much covered what you should do from an immigration perspective. My only other suggestion is to look into recovery of the money you lent him during the divorce process and get it in your final order. Good luck!

I'm sorry this happening to you. It breaks my heart to read this. And although it's true, you would need proof he didn't marry you for genuine reasons, our intuition is so strong and yours will lead you to the right direction. So sorry. ;(. Good luck with your situation.

Yea but one needs proof, just the statement does not hold much credit by itself.

As I mentioned earlier.....without any proof just how he is treating OP (no physical abuse) would not be enough to prove marriage was for immigration purpose and hence a was a visa fraud.

Simplest and best option would be file for divorce, recover as much as you can, OP can report him to immigration but don't expect much as he can always claim marriage was in good faith and just did not work out.

Without any proof(admissible in court) its OP's statment VS his statement.

I need to give both parties involved the benefit of doubts. It's dangerous to jump into conclusion just by one sided stories. What the OP described could well be true. But it could also well be that both side entered the marriage in good faith and then the relationship soured and you just want to take revenge by depriving his immigration benefit.

Doesn't make sense to me. If he really meant to use you to get a green card only, and he was successful in deceiving you to begin with, wouldn't he be continuously deceiving you until he gets his permanent green card and then say bye bye? Why would he choose to sour the relationship so fast?

Like some other people saud, unless you can cite solid evidence that he cheated on you at the very beginning, it is hard for USCIS to decide whether your story or his story will be more credible, maybe none of either of yours.

Better work out your difference between your two. Outsiders can't make a morale judgement.

My advise would be get a lawyer because there has to be some kind of a way to deport him! This is fraud and if he is telling you that I just married you to get the green card then divorce his ####!!! and do everything you can so he does not stay here and gets permenant visa. There has to be a way to deal with this issue, it is illegal and a lawyer should definitly be able to give you some guidance. I would do it as soon as possible. wow! i looked at yout timeline and it only took him about 10months after coming to show his true colors...REPORT HIM FAST! I would do anything and everything possible to get him DEPORTED back to his homeland! Talk to his family and maybe tell them that you know the real reason why he married you and if he doesn't leave the country on his own you will have him locked up!!! Tell his mother this:)

I feel really bad for you but dont let him get away with this.

sorry to hear... I'm a firm believer in karma so if his intentions were not pure from the start and his motive was just to get here by taking advantage of you , I would surely take the advice of others and report him!

You are a vevry Lucky Woman. Right now you may not believe this but you are. before i wrote this I really thought about it and Thank god that you found out as soon as you did. The thought that you could have been with this jerk for years and he was devious enough to lead you on for 2 years and got his 10 yr card or worse you could be stuck with kids and a forever reminder of the mistake.

Report him to ICE make sure that your divorce lasts until at least 3 months before his 2 year hearing ( so he can't Dupe no one into marrying him to get it extended) and let him go on his way.

You are lucky. There are Men and Women who don't find out for years that they have been duped (trust me I was Married for 20 )

You will be fine God will not put anything on you you can't handle.

I Wish you the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
