Estimado Cholito,

Again...CONGRATS!!!

And yes...we would like to know what questions were asked? All of our original paper work was sent to NVC (complete) and forwarded to the embassy. I told my wife she only needs to take her passport and embassy letter. Am I wrong in this? We are IR1/CR1 como tu.....so we are not required to submit the proofs of a relationship other than the documents supplied to the NVC?

Any ingo would be helpful! Wifey goes for medical exam friday. Embassy interview is a little more then a month off.

Thanks and felicitaciones....

Sincerely,

Magnus

Congratulations! May God bless you both! :)

Would you please share your interview review?

INTERVIEW REVIEW:

1.Get there early. The earlier you get there the faster they take you in.

2.We got called to a window and they gave us a paper that had the fees. A total of $404.00

2. We had a starter interview with a woman at one of the windows where you stand. She was the one who asked the most questions. for example... Where did you guys meet? When did the relationship start? Asked to me " why do you want to return to your country (USA)"? To my wife: Have you lived outside of Peru for over one year? When did you get married?

3. Then we sat down and she stayed with my wives passport and file.

4. 25 min later we were called into window "15" which is a room with 2 seats and and american man behind glass. Let me say that this man was a GREAT guy who was respectful and totally CHILL. He started in spanish with my wife swearing that she would tell the truth. Then asked if she would sign a form and if she spoke English. My wife does speak English so we continued in English. Honestly we talked about his job and that it was obvious who is telling the truth about the relationship and who isnt. I said to him " we have more evidence here" and he goes " i dont need to see that, there are cases that are clearly real others that aren't, you have nothing to worry about." He asked when we had got married. He was making jokes and totally chill. The one thing that we did not have was a Co-Sponser. I do not make enough money to support my wife because i have been earning in Soles here in peru for over 2 years as an English teacher. So my dad has to send his tax info and the I-864 form. We send this with my wives passport and they send us the Visa.

Note: SHOW AFFECTION. look at each other even kiss each other or hold hands. Show that you aren't nervous and really in love.

Any more questions please ask!

Dear Cholito,

Sorry...don't have skype yet! I will read every thing you have described. I recieved packet 4 that said all documents and payments were recieved by NVC and they (docs) were forwarded to the embassy. I sent the "complete" package with originals and I've already paid the fees. I think that's it.

Thanks a lot,

Magnus
