Is it really Wednesday?! Boy, times goes so slow when you want the weekend to come. Nothing new going on. Still waiting for some sign from the USCIS saying they are looking at our I-130/AOS/EAD. Nothing yet though. If they are going to send a RFE, I would rather it be soon so we can get it all taken care of.

Today I am working all day, then I am going to the city to get some produce, and then I am meeting up with a friend for coffee after Magrib. It should be fun.

Quick question. Has anyone heard of half day Ramadan fasting for people who are ill or are unable to fast a whole day? An older muslimah that I met yesterday told me that I could fast the morning of one day, and the afternoon of the next and my effort would be aknowledged by Allah. Anyone know anything about this?

Well I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I had a dream last night that I got a parking ticket. This morning, I went out to my car - parking ticket. Isn't that strange? In my dream though, the ticket was only for $19 for some reason, and the actual ticket was $25. I haven't had a parking ticket in years....

I'm not feeling well today again. I have not been able to sleep much. A friend of our family died on Friday, she was very young, only 21 years old. She died in a car accident, the other driver jumped over the divider and hit her head on, he was not drunk and it was the middle of the day. She was an only child and her parents are not doing well. I didn't know her very well, but it just makes you remember how short life is...

I think the last time I was this saddened by a death was when my grandfather died. Even though we didn't know her well, I can't stop thinking about what would happen to my parents if something like this happened to me. It truely makes you see how valuable life is. My parents depend on me alot, the girl that died was in the same situation. Her parents are not doing well, her mom has tried to kill herself 2 times since Friday. I have become paranoid to drive and at the same time I don't want to walk either. On Friday, abuot a 2 blocks from my house, a lady passed out behind the wheel and jumped the curb, she killed an entire family.

I can't remember the last time so many tragic things happened so close to home. :(
