So much for the idea of 'diversity'.

Oddly enough, the most vocal critics in this thread are guilty of the same behaviour. There are constant threads proselytizing the views of the left. Your hearts are just as much on your sleeves as his and because it is you and 'your' beliefs, that makes it different. AT least Tim practices what he preaches. Maybe that is what makes him so intimidating.

People want to blame religion for the problems of humanity and fail to recognize the behaviour that is the root of the problem. Remove religion entirely and a new idealogy will emerge that people will use to persecute others because they do not conform to it.

Logic fail. You must not be much of a football fan, because if you were, you'd know that football and the Christian faith are almost inseparable in some places. You'd also know that the NFL full of players, coaches and staff who are Christian. The NFL is a pretty diverse bunch. Any ridicule Tebow gets is because of his flamboyant, glittery, Vegas-style religious showboating.

Now here's a class act who is also a Christian saying Tebow needs to tone it down.

Former quarterback Kurt Warner has some advice for Tim Tebow: Tone it down on the faith front.

Warner, who has played for the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants and St. Louis Rams, is a Christian who claims he learned the hard way that it's better for believers to let their actions speak louder than words.

In an interview with the Arizona Republic, the former football player seeks to offer advice to his younger brother in faith. "You can't help but cheer for a guy like that," Warner said. "But I'd tell him, 'Put down the boldness in regards to the words, and keep living the way you're living. Let your teammates do the talking for you. Let them cheer on your testimony.'"

Warner went on to explain that he knows what Tebow is going through and that he knows "what he wants to accomplish." That being said, he doesn't want people to sour on Tebow simple because they don't understand him or his faith. "You're starting to see that a little bit," he told the Republic.

It's not that Warner wants Tebow to hide his faith — or even to avoid it. But he says that as soon as someone talks about his or her love for Jesus Christ, "the guard goes up." He continued, "I came to realize you have to be more strategic."

Why are you the biggest anti-muslim proponent here while claiming to defend them, again and again?

No one else wants to run Tebow out of town but you.

If someone can generate ratings and cash in the NFL or media, then No one cares what race or religion he is. Get over it already!

My team is the Arizona Cardinals and one of my favorite players is Larry Fitzgerald.

Larry is a Christian and most people probably don't know that. Most opposing teams probably don't know, let alone care. However, Larry doesn't hide his faith either. He just doesn't wear his heart out on his sleeve. He doesn't need to. People who know him see the Light by his actions, his conduct. That is why he is well respected in the league. When he sees an opponent down on the ground, he offers him a hand. That's the best kind of Christian athlete.

Why must every CHristian have the same style or form of expression?

If the world around us teaches us anything at all about the nature of God it is that -God loves diversity.

Even the Disciples of Christ had wildly different personalities and styles of carrying out their mission yet they were united in the message.

It could be you and Tebow just don't agree on the message.
