"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I see myself more as a Susan Sarandon type

She's hot but I don't know if she's the cougar type of gal like Cher or Demi Moore.

Same here. I save the geriatrics for those who can appreciate them more fully. I'm afraid my tastes are rather pedestrian and tend toward those whose hair I can run my hands through. And by hair, I mean on top of the head, not anywhere else. Back pelts are strictly verboten.

And a cheeky grin and lovely dimples too are also most welcome..

I miss my boyfriend. :(

Yup - youth, hair and a cheeky grin are all huge pluses. :)

Puppy-dog eyes I could do without... I'm always finding my bank account is $60 lighter after Alex has had a bad day. And I always swear I will not give in the next time.

Hey, I like the GAP. It's banana republic I'm not too fond of, which sets me apart from most guys I know IRL.

You like the Gap? You don't wear wrangler jeans and a budweiser frog t-shirt? Uh oh, you know what some on here are gonig to say about you.

So how many heart attacks has it been now?

One. I know the condition of my heart, just had my semi-annual checkup last Wednesday, exactly two years after my surgery, you? I thought everything was fine a few minutes before I had the heart attack.

That's a disgustingly cheap shot to make at me, Gary, and far beneath you. As it so happens, my ex is still around as one of my close friends. Sometimes even the most promising enterprises don't pan out as you expect them, and it's best to hold your head up and part ways as friends.

ETA: I'm sure you'll just weasel around this one, as always.

It is not beneath me at all. You are wrong about that.

Just pointing out that many women have much more important qualities on their agenda than hair and dimples. Seems OK to make fun of a person's physical attributes. FWIW as many women like bald guys as like men with lots of hair.

Ask Alla, she will say

"Yeah he is bald but he does amazing ceramic tile and heated floors right outside the tub"

"yeah, he has a belly, it is warm to lay on and you think he will ever chase another woman? Besides, he built my custom cherry wardrobe"

"Yeah, he doesn't have dimples but he spent three hours a night for months teaching our son English and History and Math and making sure he excelled in school and now he was Student of the Year and won the State Math Olympiad"

I had a lot of hair when I was young. It all went away and left only the core beliefs behind. What a shame.

Be prepared for responses

I hope for your sake (and your bank account), Alex doesn't have too many bad days. I would hate to think a wee English lass is getting taken advantage of.

Real men wear 501 STF along with Haines T-shirts with the pocket on the front, and Redwing boots.
