I wouldn't have said I either view men as pieces of meat or as the sum of their material possessions, although both may contribute to an overall whole. Agreed with Honey Crumpet that character, morals and intellect probably play the biggest parts.

Yeah, I was originally going to say it didn't matter at all, but of course that's a lie; of course attraction plays a part!

But I've also been attracted to very unconventional looking men, and I'd have said I wouldn't have even considered my first boyfriend visually attractive - it was only after knowing him for several months that I began to think he was attractive.
