still waiting for call to pick up passport and visa

Hi all, my wife had her interview on Nov 17th in Islamabad and was approved. They told her she would get her passport and visa from american express in karachi in 10 days. i emailed the embassy as i have still not recieved any call from amex. They told me that the visa was issued and sent to amex on Nov 21st. its been over 20 days and we still have not recieved any call from amex to come pick up the visa and passport. Has anybody waited this long to get their passport with visa after it was sent out. i am starting to get worried that they might have lost it. Amex is no help at all and they do not talk to you properly, and just keep saying when we get it we will give u a call. Also our original docs was supposed to be sent along with the visa as they never gave it back at the interview and told us we would get it back thru them. Has anyone recieved their orginal docs along with their visa? Any help would be great

Same story with our case. My fiancée interviewed nov 17 and she was given an approval and told the American Express office in Lahore within 7 days. It's been almost a month and I found out today our file is in AP. No reason was given at or after the interview and we were led to believe everything was cleared and this process coming to a happy conclusion. The embassy hasn't given much help in that they reply to my emails but never mentioned administrative processing, only that they would look into the delay and get back to me.

I hope some clarity is given soon. We can only wait and keep following up.

I would contact the embassy again to let them know you understood them to issue the visa on Nov 21st and AMEX has no record of it. Not that they could give you anymore info but they might be able to look into it and be sure it was delivered to AMEX

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received
