Finger print notice

Hi everybody

I applied for N-400 in October and got my NOA on October 28-2011. It's been more than 42 days and haven't got my Finger Print appointment. I haven seen people applied after me already got their finger prints appointment. I had my finger prints last year to remove condition on my green card on dec 28-2010. I am just wondering are they still valid for this case or do I need to get FP done again. Anyone have that kind of experience. Plz share and any advise.

sorry no help here,but i'm to still waiting on my FP letter.afcorse for me it's only bin 21 days.but my NOA is making me wonder if i will even be getting my FP letter(This is what my NOA said.....*you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice*).

but at the same time..my last FP was done in 2007.i just keep telling my self that things have slowed down(on top already being slow at the DC office) do to the holidays coming up.i plan on waiting until after Christmas and then maybe give them a call.

but my NOA is saying..i should be getting somthing in the mail within 90 days.

I have already talked to them on phone a week ago. USCIS Customer Rep have made a request on that matter and gave me a confirmation number for my request and told me you will know within 15 days about it. If not give us a call after 15 days.My only concern is,do my finger print is still good Becoz I read on different Blogs that lot of people never have a FP notice infact they have gotten a direct call for the interview.

Any idea?

I still waiting for fingerprint appointment too. I got my NOA on Nov 23-2011.

Last time I had my fingerprint on Jan 14-2011 for remove condition same like you.

Please up date, If you have something from USCIS after 15 days when you call them.

Sometimes USCIS decides that the biometrics on file are still good enough and valid and therefore skip sending you the fingerprinting appointment. when you are at the top of their list to schedule you an interview, they will go ahead and send you a notice. No one can tell you how and if they are doing that, unfortunately.

You did what you can by calling and placing a service request. You can also schedule an infopass and go to it and see if they will do anything for you...

I am hoping USCIS customer rep will give me a good explanation next week on 20th of December about it
