Well, the KKK likes to label itself as Christian. Does that make all Christians racist terrorists? According to your argument, it does.

ETA: My family and friends in Europe are doing just fine. They don't have a Muslim situation they're worried about. Now, the neo-nazi situation in ole' German is a different story. Those are folks to be worried about.

Germans wouldn't know what to worry about if it bit them in their #######. I was spending time in Frankfurt when you were probably still just a gleam in your daddy's eye. Back then they had a problem with the Turks and I doubt it's got any better. Assimilation is not a Muslim trait.

The KKK is peanuts these days, and if you want to compare the KKK to the extremist nutters fringe of the Islamic faith lets do it now. It's not even close.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Mormon plural marriages between two consenting people of legal marriage age have zero effect on me or anyone else outside of those marriages, and the prohibition of them is blatant bigotry, much like bans on niqabs worn by Muslim women. Racial discrimination in the context that was practiced by the Mormon church and Amish buggies on federal highways are not even remotely comparable. Lol @ using "because it offends my poor sensitive sensibilities" though.

Exactly how does western Europe get absolved of all guilt of slaughtering each other like savage animals in not one but two world wars last century, making it necessary for them to import millions of people from other countries to work for them, and then not establishing any kind of coherent immigration policies that could have prevented so many of the problems they are experiencing now?

Do you have any pics of Mormons and/or Amish going nuts in the street because of a cartoon, or celebrating 9-11? If so please post them. And while your at it, can you also post the numbers on Mormons and Amish people immigrating to the US, Canada, and Western Europe in the past two decades.

...I did not say I agreed or disagreed with any of these. Society as a whole disagrees and the practices are not allowed. I could have used examples such as sacrificing dogs and sleeping with children. Society does not change according to your personal ideals. You are free to work to change peoples attitudes (making condescending smarmy comments probably is not your best route but whatever makes you happy) until then respect your communities norms and rules or go somewhere that shares your views.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

A glean in my daddy's eye? If you were an adult when you were in Frankfurt and I was just a gleam in my daddy's eye, then you wouldn't be drawing UI right now but Social Security retirement benefits. You know, when I was just a gleam in my daddy's eye, Germans didn't have a problem with the Turks - they imported them en masse to fill jobs.

'79 was the first time I was there with my family, and the Turks weren't even coming close to accepting German culture. The government didn't seem to have a problem with them...or so they said, but the Germans did. Not sure if you noticed yet, but what government say and do isn't always the will of the people.

So you think I was a gleam in my daddy's eye in 1979? That's funny.

Whoa calm down there, this isnt a place to talk about warfare like that. Muslims do adapt to the culture they live in, but only to a certain extent and then we have religious freedom. The great thing about democratic nations is the right to practice your religion, HOWEVER you are never allowed to practice religion when it causes a real harm or risk to others. For example, if your religion says you can murder anyone you want whenever you want, you would not have that freedom in any country with religious freedoms. I am muslim myself and I strongly oppose the niqaab face covering, it is not suggested by the Qur'an or even the Hadiths. The most you can cover under Islamic rulings is everything but the face and hands. And Islam is clear on not being excessive or going to extremes with restrictions. The niqaab not only is an excuse for extreme muslims to hide their identities, and other things... but it cripples the woman herself. I have worn the niqaab and its very difficult to see around and be able to defend yourself. It is a danger for the woman, and for others. I am muslim and I am saying that is perfectly justified for countries to require she uncovers her face permanently or just for ID's and official purposes. You cannot hide your entire identity in this world and its definitely not even required, encouraged, or suggested in Islam. Radical groups came up with the face covering as "Islam" and its not hard to wonder how it benefits them.....

Most Muslims would agree and the Muslims here tell them this all the time, but, there are some idjits here who want to stir up hatred against Muslims and make us seem like a problem every chance they get, so we have threads like this for them.
